Arsène Wenger has earmarked Brazilian playmaker Kaka as AC Milan’s dangerman.
The World Player of the Year has overcome injury in time for Wednesday’s Champions League clash at Emirates Stadium — a place Kaka has fond memories of. In his first appearance at the Gunners’ home, in September 2006, the 25 year-old scored a wonderful solo goal in Brazil’s 3-0 victory against Argentina.
Blessed with pace, vision and a penchant for the spectacular, Kaka is capable of changing a game in a flash. A fact Manchester United, Liverpool and Celtic found out to their cost in last season’s premier European competition.
“Kaka made the difference last year in this competition,” said Wenger on Friday. “He scored 10 goals in 11 games. He made the difference against Celtic.

“He's the guy who can dominate a situation and in 10 seconds get to the other side of the box and score a goal.

“We need to be more cautious in the centre than we usually are. He's especially dangerous at counter-attacking. I don't know if I'll use Gilberto for him.
“My main worry is to get 11 fit players for the Milan game.”

Hmmmm...........no flaming Pool over their shite loss to Barnsley i see? As a Pool fan i jus feel embarassed.....and rightly so. I ain't like the other fans who support Benitez for dunno wat reason. Sure he's been in several finals of competitions and all but wat we want is the EPL. His retarded whining abt transfer fees and abt still mounting a title challenge is all bullshit. That is why i want him out. He's becoming too much like some managers who put all the blame on the owners WHEN HE CAN'T EVEN PRODUCE RESULTS ON THE PITCH, suppoused to be his area of expertise. Which is why i say, GET HIM OUT! Having said that, the team shld also shoulder some of the blame, they really haven't played up to any standard at all, and to quote former Liverpool legend Tommy Smith, 'I don't even think they have a strong XI now.' Been a Reds fan for maybe 3 years now (extremely short, i know) but i like to think that i'm not only a fan, but a true RED. The CL is one competition that Benitez is gd in and for his and Liverpool's sake, i hope we win it this year, bcos it is our only hope for silverware.

im rooting for arsenal in this match. Because honestly, I would rather manu face arsenal than milan in the latter stages of champs league. After seeing how milan DEMOLISHED manu last season, i ve realised that they are a truly classy side who are very hard to beat when at e top of their game. Manu is more familiar with arsenal so that may be easier. heh. watch out for kaka and gattuso the guard dog

pirlo the danger man.without him kaka cant work.he is the core of milan.i admire him too.very classy player.

someone said KING KENNY... that will be very interesting man. but it is funny that ex liverpool heroes always end up in the wasteland which is newcastle: dalglish, keegan, rush, owen, and keegan AGAIN

i don't want another barren era of roy evans and his spice boys. no matter how good a manager benitez is he has to be accountable for the team's lack of success, especially if they dont win the champions league.

honestly i don't think liverpool have the strength in QUALITY depth to do his rotation shit. the first team has too many injuries and players lacking class, experience or both.

bro shinobi -I hate to say this but pool reserves just as shitty as AFCs ...

Lehmann - MUST GO (perfarably to Spurs o Man U)

Fabianski - from what I've seen so far - another Almunia.

J Hoyte - must be loaned out for more 1st team expirience.
A Traoare - same as Hoyte

Senderos - Sell him lah ....

Gilberto - way past sell by date

Diaby - neeeds to be loaned out foo more 1st team expirience

Walcott - need to be more agressive and get involved more or be shown the door.

Bentner - Needs to wake up and "learn" from the main players instead of having an "Anelka" attitude.

Granted these guys (except for abang Lehmann & Gilberto) are still very very young & still learning the trade so the verdict is out but sometimes you can tell if they are gonna make it or not.

frankly speaking milan are comparable to teams like barca, inter and real in europe. domestically they are notorious underachievers.

i'm not trying to be anti man u but maybe u should realise man u's lack of class. credit to them goes for their speed and attacking play, they can beat any team in the epl and annihilate smaller opposition hoping to cause an upset. they are a potent english team. but the english style has never been favoured in european competition. it is rightly so that the best man u player is a winger

The ‘big targets’ Arsenal have set out in front of them will allow Saturday’s defeat at Old Trafford to be forgotten, according to Arsène Wenger.
AC Milan come to Emirates Stadium on Wednesday for the resumption of the Champions League and the Frenchman believes switching focus to that particular obstacle will ensure the FA Cup exit is consigned to history.
The Arsenal manager highlighted the disappointment that resonated with his squad after the weekend exit, but insists that the team’s spirit remains intact.
“Who wouldn't be hurt by a defeat like that?” asked Wenger. “The most important thing for us is to be positive and to visualise how we want to behave and play as a team.
“Sometimes you forget how good you are when you have a big disappointment. We want to be the best as possible, but it was a bad day at the office and that can happen.
“What is most important, is to have big targets in front of you.
“This is such a big game, such a massive task, that we can forget about Saturday."

Arsène Wenger has six players back to full fitness for the visit of Milan on Wednesday.
Gael Clichy, Mathieu Flamini and Emmanuel Adebayor were on duty at Manchester United last Saturday despite being troubled by hamstring injuries. All those will be ready to play against the Champions League holders at Emirates Stadium.
Bacary Sagna is available while Denilson and Theo Walcott have been added to the squad. However Manuel Almunia is still recovering from a virus so Jens Lehmann will keep his place.
"Bacary Sagna is back so are Gael Clichy, Mathieu Flamini and Emmanuel Adebayor," said Wenger at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
"Manuel Almunia is not completely ready to play. But he is getting there and is very close now. Jens Lehmann will start.
"Denilson is back in the squad and Theo Walcott is in too. But Johan Djourou, Robin van Persie, Abou Diaby, Tomas Rosicky are all still out."
