actually, if arsenal pull off a win tonight at the lane....... it's going to be crazy down to the wire between chelsea and arsenal.. with arsenal having the easier run in.. and honestly i dont see how disheartened spuds will pull off any more surprises for the rest of the season..

finally showing cracks on how we really depended on Fabregas + Song + Arshavin + Gallas (and Vermaelen who was injured). We were barely scraping through against weaker teams without them.
Silvestre is a useless old hag caught sleeping in the middle of the game (thus the second goal). RvP was pure class on pitch even though it's a 20 minute cameo, sadly not enough to pull a draw. I really have to give it to Gomes he pulled a couple of great saves, for once I really hope Almunia is like that... consistently.

Hmm...Poor, poor Arse.
I'm not sure if i'm happy or upset actually. Cos i had sorta wanted Arse to beat Spurs so that Chelsea would not be handed the BPL trophy on a silver platter. I wanted another a team to make Chelsea play for their lives for all their remaining matches.
But then again, I also knew that if Arse had won Spurs last night, it would mean that they may overtake Utd in the 2nd spot.

Don't be disheartened, it ain't over till some fat chick sings or perhaps an appearance by Susan Boyle. Anyway.....
You have 4remaining games & are 6points adrift of Chelsea. Yea, loads of folks would say realistically, your chances have gone the way of Tom& Cruised(d) but mathematically, you're still in it.
I guess for once, put your faith in Mathematics.
As for Spurs, after losing to Pompey in the cup semi, they knew their next job is to secure Euro qualifications& they've cleared the first hurdle enroute.
That's what it's all about 'the next job'. So Gunners, focus on your next job.

i need a bottle of Jack straight up to find that humor. *laughs* man i sound so depressed already. i think it's the "just got kick out of UCL" syndrome. Chelsea screwed up their match against blackburn right after they got kicked out, man utd also followed suit and well it's only natural for arsenal too. LOL!

FGL D ---> Dahlin, if Spurs manage to somehow win Chelsea & Man Utd and finish 4th, I think they totally deserve to be in the Champs League lah.
Extremers ---> Yup, I know. I sound more & more depressed as the weekends go by. You're right lah. All these clubs seem to have something in common, screwing up their games just after their glorious exit from Champs League. So I say, come on in, AFC. Join the partay!
