Eh eh Espanyol is a Spanish La Liga club. Espana! might be a better choice. Well, so here it is, my 2 favourite teams in the final, my prediction on 4th June correct. I think that if Spain can play this kind of football, they will definitely win. Giants the Germans may be but the midgets can run through their legs. And that will allow to score. Again, i predict an attacking football philosophy for the final and Spain to win something high-scoring like maybe 4-3 or maybe even 6-5! The more the merrier as they say. In any case, i will be happy whoever wins. That's the beauty of supporting 2 teams. But i admit i will be wearing my Espana shirt for the match. Go Espana!

it's not because of torres (of my beloved Liverpool), but you have to look at the individuals and squad packed with talent. i noe you get that in portugal too, but they lack the unity, since all was abt ronaldo and scolari rumour distracting them.
germany? i just say they gotta buck-up their defence if they are to win.

I have to admit, Liverpool is one of the first reasons that led me on to Spain, but after I watched them play Russia ( 1st game ) till Russia ( Semis ), they really convinced me. The creativity they have in midfield, the finishing ability, I am still not convinced with their defending, would will be a big problem with the Germans. Germany, in the past few tournaments haven't had much luck with finals.
Either ways, good match to watch. Go spain !

agreed, but you have to admit they have been in the finals a number of times. this is spain's 1st euro in 44 years. they have the talent, but this is the stage where the pressure's on them to win.
i do hope spain can shake off the 'underachiever' tag and win the cup. they really deserve it more than germany.

German weakness is their midfield in Rolfes and Hitzpelberger. How the hech did this two make it into the first team is beyond imagination. They would have problems making into the Man City first 11 - for sure.
I hope someone whacks Rolfes on the head again, before the game so that there isn't any question that Frings starts the game. It's also better if Borowski starts instead of the Hitz guy but that seems like a long shot going by the way Loew has set them up thus far. But he could spring a surprise for the final.
And there's this crazy keeper of theirs, Lehman.
Other than that the Germans possess much better finishing and organization.
The main battles will be between
Senna vs Frings
Ramos vs Lahm
Ballack vs a couple of Spanish midgets
Torres vs Metzelder
Spain's weakness is their central defence. Hopefully Klose will do his job. It's also important that the German forwards not stray away too far from each other like they did in the first-half of the Turkish game. They couldn't connect with each other. It was only in the second half when Ballack was used as a go-between that things changed positively.
Hopefully it'll be a cracking final!
