blink invited them to tour, and recently, green day said that they toured with blink, just to regain popularity and take back fans tehy lost and prove they're better than blink.

You living in 2001 or whenever the Pop Disaster Tour happened? And Green Day did prove that they were better than Blink...absolutely burnt them man! Great show!

i got the kerrang article. it was in Feb 2006. i dont have a scanner.

lol.

its alright dude, u have ur opinion, i have mine. i respect yours.

i beginning to feel that this thread is getting lopsided & that not much green day fans are inputting.. its not a matter of who is better..

its about the music people!!

seems like there's more blink fans than greenday fans here.....haha....come on ppl vote for GREENDAY!!!

actually, blink and green day fans are mainly kids. LOL. really

blink's pop punk songs appeal to kids.

green day only becam very successful n mainstream after the release of AI...and everywhr u go u hear their songs...

i have nothing against my fav. band being mainstream, cause i want them to be successful the way they want. BUT, hearing the songs over and over again on the radio, or in shops is a little...irritating.

too much isnt good sometimes

hmm, its all about personal preferences again.. well, some people like it, some people don't.

if everyone thinks the same way, then might as just have a universal band that appeals to everyone? save time debating or argueing and getting so uptight about it rite?

yeah. thats what i meant.

but forums in the usa say that kids there are starting to listen to GD..after the release of AI,...kids who are 10yrs old.

10 years ago, they didn't even know what Insomniac meant, lol...let alone Green Day. Some American parents are open to vulgarities, I guess...or perhaps the kids bought the record without their parents' knowledge, haha...

There probably were more Green Day fans of the old wave than the new ones...

hahahaha. yeah

even blink, on the last album, was less vulgar etc.

so i think parents wud find blink182 (from 2003 onwards), a band that children can listen to...at least the album..but not the concerts.

cause their live shows are....err vulgar..
