Yeah thanks, you should try it sometime man...I loved it 4 years ago and I still love the sound now! I tried it when my friend brought it to my place 4 years ago. And i remember laying down some backing tracks of Play that Funky Music with my trusty Marleaux, and recorded solos with every bass I borrowed or friends bought. There was a G&L L-5500 (Wookie's), a TRB patitucci (some other guy called Andrew), and I only remember one other bass - this jazz bass. It kicked major butt!
Played at MOS last night with it. Really awesome low end from a jazz. And the note definition was pretty tite!
the T40 is famous for its wide tone choice (as the the tone knob taps the center of the two coils..phat humbuck to sparkly single at a twist), slim neck...wicked feel !!
i'd like to try a t-40 man. they say it's heavy as hell tho. im using 2 big ash bodied basses so i think my back has been trained to deal with heavy basses by now haha. you can still get it relatively cheap from ebay. i guess you could vpost it over from ebay.
Sorry for blurred pics and bad exposure. Recent ones were done with my Nokia phone See see...I even sell my camera to fund basses, now I take even lousier shots than I would have. Heres a lesson for y'all! :?
