here the pix, yeah see the hole? i circled it, depends how u rest yr thumbs, if u rest the tip of yr thumb, it shouldnt be a problem, if u rest yr whole thumb on it, its pretty painful when u rest against those "holes".

Here's my wife!!! FENDER WARMOTHHHHH .. WOOT! I love their products man. Some basic specs.

Body is swamp ash. Neck is maple with rosewood fingerboard. Inlays are abalone dots. Made around 1990 i think .. i got it second hand that's why unsure. US-made. Pickups are MEC Gold with 2-band MEC preamp. Bridge is Schaller roller bridge and tuners are Japanese Gotoh.

chill chill kelvin ... my one with the rosewood pickguard installed is on my avatar ... shiok right?

I really love the tone but i wanna change the pickups ... to growlish already .. i want something smoother ... was thinking of Basslines 67/70 Passive pickups .. what say you kelvin?

i thought so too man .. the pickups are amazing ... super growlish. String up with warwick red label strings and you have a warwick bass already .. woot!

Sure! .. i think i'll just ask Jeanette from Davis ... have you met her before? Goodness .. her product knowlegde is amazing lah ... i bet she went to memorize all the product specs of their products man ... i'm seriously impressed with her. Next time if anyone of you wants to get pickups changed or needs to get reviews on any guitars that Davis sells .. find jeanette ...
