The Bass Picture Gallery

The Cort Curbows were great with a great price tag to boot. Never expected to hear that it came from a Forex trader though!

Haha, yeah. Quite obsessed with the mwah factor. Still is, though I use my Jazz Bass most of the time cos it's punchier. But started using the six-string ever since my Wife got it for me.

Cool wife you have.... does she has friends like herself you could intro to the rest of us Bass GASers???... I think we areall pretty eligible and have proper jobs, but we just ain't got enuff to pay for all the basses, so I suspect we may need good partners for life who can help us bear our burdens...heh.

You must bring that 6 string down for our next Bass Whores session!!! We will arrange once everyone can find time off work. This time round, if you guys arewilling to travel, i should have three bass amps and a digital mixer that is output to two 100 watts monitors back at my mum's place... enuff space and inputs for all you bass whores...

and yes Evangion, you do not have to haul that Peavey amp anymore....

Well, she got it to end my raving about six-strng bass...haha. Got it from Tom Lee in Hong Kong while she's there. Caught me off-guard big-time when I found it at home when I came back from exercise in Australia...haha :D

wow! sure wish my future wife is like that!

and btw, great basses you have, really nice. i've got to get myself a fretless and a 6 stringer one day....

the fretless acoustic looks fantastic. wad brand is it and how does it sound?

A few of these basses have long stories behind them. But 2 of the newest ones, I thank my good friends Ken and Melvin for. Namely the SR4 EX and Roscoe Beck V. These are 2 of 6 basses you see here, that have to be pry-ed off my cold and dead fingers!

Last night I brought the Pratatucci out for a gig. It was a battle royale with me, and the Sadowsky preamp in between. I think the house engineer decided to cut all the mids from the mains...But the best part was, halfway I saw a familiar face (Hi Jon), and he happened to be the ex-head of Bass education in a famous school. Alamak, he used to own a TRB JP as well, and I couldnt play properly when I saw him lol. But hes a good man, and we got smashing drunk together after my gig and his, and I still had to carry 2 basses home!
