yea. or is it pearloid? i'm not sure. there's the same binding around the fingerboard too. sweet touch. they say it glows under low stage lighting.

Got an amazing rig to use tomorrow:

Fender Bassman 135, modded by Goose, into a Trace Elliot 2103 cab. Amazing, fat tone. Will be sticking a Senn 421 in front of it.

@jbarks i love the tone from the bassman on sunday. vintage amp beats everything hands down.

I'm not very sure what was modded... I know he added a presence control, and it breaks up earlier. It's actually meant more for guitar, I think. I'd probably leave mine unmodded and get a 15" cab if I was going to buy one. Would still want an Ampeg B-15 though!

I wished I had a torch... but because I didn't, I had to go slowly with a lighter. Burned my fingers but it was worth it. Nope it's maho I think... was trying to get as close to http://www.espguitars.co.jp/artist/sugizo/index.html as I could.

Passive. Sound is okay I guess, didn't mess around with it enough to get a strong opinion... honestly, I can't remember how exactly it sounds! :O It's actually a present for a friend, I finished up the work on it around 9pm, so could only play it at low volumes, then my friend brought it home. I really should record the sound of this. Hmm.
