No doubt some in the gay community might find the poster advertsing the event as harmless tongue-in-cheek fun but what about the rest? Some gay frenz I showed the poster to tot it was abit in poor taste.

Anytime an organizer chooses a sensitive topic as a name for their show they must be prepared to face the potential fall out. Reading all these "for and against" replies my conclusion is that the organizers didn't state their true intentions of the gig well enough. Is it a gay pride show of just a marketing gimmick?

What ever their true intent it certainly got alot of publicity judging from the number of eyeballs generated for this thread.
