Only for people with no drumming experience. Any age, gender, race, nationality, all welcome!
I'm not a pro so don't expect to be a pro after this too! Mainly self-taught, no qualifications in drumming/teaching. I am very patient.
Covered:
1) Fun and simple introduction to all drum kit parts
2) Basic but not cool drumming
3) Easy and cool drum beats
4) Easy and cool drum fills
5) Will move on to more complicated and cool but basic drum beats / fills if still keen
Not covered:
1) Grip
2) Tempo
3) Dynamics
4) Rolls
Rates:
1) Each lesson: $14/45-50 min (may increase if rental increases)
2) If can provide your own starter drum kit, each lesson: $5/hr
3) If never hit a drum kit before, will teach without drum kit, each lesson: $5/hr (once know basic co-ordination will teach with drum kit)
4) Can stop after the 1st lesson, no pressure to continue if it does not meet your interests (can PM me what you want to learn first so I will customise the number of lessons accordingly)
Time and day negotiable, preferably on weekends.
1 basic pair of drum sticks & 1 starter 5-piece electronic drum kit provided at decent rental place, using headphones not amplifier.
