Has anyone had their tattoo removed in any sort of method? and.. successfully seen satisfying results?

laser for me..per session 150-200 lah..pain? aiyah if u can handle the pain ofdoing tattoo surely you can handle this lah..haha..and ur skin will smell like satay during the removal hehe..

To TS: Laser removal is by far the best method.. People have tried acid..but that was back in the days. The questions you need to ask yourself is how many sessions would you require along with where would you like it done.

Anyway, do you really want to remove your tattoo? Or do you want to know this in case you would have to remove the tattoo you're gonna put?

My advice to other softies is...if you're still living off your parents and they dont want you putting tattoos..DONT! Its not worth hiding the tattoos or risking you and your parent's relationship..and their disappointment. I'm not saying this because i abhor tattoos or see it as a form of gangsterism, but instead, i'm speaking from personal experience.

I myself have a few tattoos, if your parents are open-minded people or are not a factor in your decision making process, go ahead! Just make sure you don't spam the ink- you'll live to regret! Carefully think before inking.

paradox: I think using an eraser to the extent of rubbing your tattoo off will hurt more than the laser. :(

TS:
How big is the tat2?
Is it within the cover of clothing?

Maybe the bigger question i should ask is why do you want to remove it and why you got it in the first place?

If you choose to have them removed, Please do it the correct way. Laser is the only way to go. DO NOT try age old remedies like Acid, Glass Powder, Burning and such. these will only make your tat2 into a permanant and ugly keloid. Might as well keep a piece of art than have a self inflicted scar.

Laser don't come cheap but its the most effective. It's also 2-3 more painful than having your skin inked.

Carefully think before inking.

I've seen a few guys who come in& asked for their gf names to be inked. That's not a good idea, if there is one woman who's name you wanna ink then it should one's mother.

As for removal, getting them off hurts more than inking them in.

To the threadstarter...
the size of your piece/s matters, sometimes it's not advisable to remove 'em.

haha.. i see.. thanks guys for ur comments.. i actually found out about this chemical peeling thing.. it's called TCA. Throcoloroacetic acid. It says

" TCA is medically proven for tattoo removal and is preferred over laser and sanding (microdermabrasion) by many. This same solution may now be applied by consumers in the privacy of their homes at a fracton of the office cost. TCA removes tattoos and permanent makeup by generating a controlled inflammation to the top layers of skin. The effect is similar to laser which uses heat to generate the inflammation. After approximately one week, the outer layers of skin will peel off, removing a portion of the tattoo pigment. Tattoos progressively fade with each treatment. 50% TCA is commonly used for tattoo removal. "

got this from this website..

http://www.tcapeels.com/index.html

and many other websites that talk about it.

I was wondering how i can get this in Singapore? Or does our local hospitals does this treatment? Or sells this TCA peel acid?

Website looks pretty trashy man. I would suggest you either go directly to a professional for advice on your options. Laser still seems the best but the only thing is that it could be very costly.

What colours are contained in your tattoo? Is it deep into the skin? How long have you had it and where on your body is it?

heh.. man.. i have it on almost everywhere.. but not out on my arms.. when i wear shirts and jeans... i look like i have none.. but when i'm on sports attire.. tht's when ppl starts staring.. lol... haiz.. i just wanna get rid the ones on my legs.. luckily it's all in black colour. only coloured one flower in green. tht's all.. i've went for lasering sessions.. about 10 already.. rather slow.. but could see slight improvements... like patches of inks fading away.. but because i'm doin it in a facial salon.. so i paid a price and i'll just keep going to get it removed. the laser machine's laser power is much smaller then those in the skin centres tht's for sure.. but at least it's fading the inks.. but relatively slow.. i'm really wondering where i could get the TCA peel in singapore man. i really wan to get rid of my tattoos asap. desperately.. really desperately.. HAIZ.

I think the TCA thing is nonsense, don't bother wasting your money on it. Black or dark blue are the easiest to remove by laser while lighter colours like yellow, red, maybe light green are tough if I'm not wrong. Ten sessions and not even mostly faded?? Dude how much are you paying per session? I would expect 10 sessions to completely remove most of a tattoo

nope tattooing over skin colour won't help.. almost nothing can cover that black ink. Tim08 like i said.. i'm doing it in a salon.. and the machine they using are not as powerful as those used in skin centres. so it's like one session at skin centre is like 2 or 3 sessions in this salon. and i only paid 500bucks. tht's all.. i'm no more paying. pay one time and just keep coming back for the laser sessions. haha.. and ten sessions is definitely not enough for that size of my tattoo.. i guess mine would take like more than 40 sessions. LOl.. it's like the whole leg. but only black outlines. =D

I'm sorry for bumping this old thread, but I really just want this to be know in the hopes it helps someone else.

I needed this advice years, and years, and years ago!

I have gone through a laser tattoo removal and I would absolutely NOT recommend anyone to do it.

It has messed me up for life both physically and financially.

If you go through the usual laser removal methods. Which I, again, do not recommend, not only that it will leave marks on your skin, so in reality, the tattoo will still be kind of visible if you know where to look. It is a very long process. And to be honest, very costly.

I had a hook up from a friend, and I have only paid 4000$ for 12 sessions. Which is a whole lot of money, but if I had to pay the full price, I would spend at least 6500$.

This also depends on where do you live, but in general, it is costly. And it took ages to finish, they have recommended me at max one session per month. So I have ended up getting rid of this tattoo for more than a year and a half, and to be honest, the tattoo was quite small. It was significant as a can of coke. If I had a more massive tattoo, it would take a longer time and more session, which means more $$.

Laserless tattoo removal is where it's at.

Unfortunately, at the time of my tattoo removal, I did not know this, I know about this only thanks to my brother, which bought this program last year.

This has a few pros and few cons. It works, and he was able to do it himself. Well, you have to do it yourself or ask someone to do it for you.

It is a long process, but I believe he has spent just a couple bucks on this ebook. It is definitely way cheaper than any tattoo removal cream I have bought.

And how long it will take to remove the tattoo with this method varies from person to person, their age and their skin. My brother got rid of his tattoo with in four months, I believe, and his tattoo was at least twice as big mine was.

I am not sure, if he were supposed to do something to treat it every day, I would have to call him about it, but hey it works and out of all of these options it is the cheapest one and yes you might spend more time on this than on laser removal, but your tattoo will be gone sooner than if you would go with the laser removal option.

To my knowledge, this is the only 100% natural option out here in 2019 to get rid of your tattoos.

I really hope this helps someone out there. Please save your money and your lovely skin and only use natural alternatives!

If I'm able to just help one (1) person not to commit the same mistakes I've made and to change their mind I'll die a happy man

James
