My project band, "TapOut" performing our written, arranged, practiced, and jammed-in-8-hours song, "Suffer No More" at Tampines Mall on 7th August.

And yes, we made it to the Finals!

A very heartfelt thank you to all who came and supported.
You made it all the more worthwhile for us to rock the stage!

Keep a lookout for us this 4th September at Plaza Singapura for the Asian Beat 2010 (Singapore) Finals.

On behalf of all the 10 bands who made it to the finals, I'd like to invite all of you to come down and support. To me, every band on stage is a winner!

Rock on!

Sorry guys, your band doesnt impress me, and becoz of your composition is weak well to me, this is an honest opinion tho, if you guys gonna represent Singapore in the grand finals even, our Singapore representative gonna look very small weak , nothing and Zero , 0. Low quality, no STANDARD, open your eyes and look at the bands from Indonesia, Japan look how solid thier compositions are, BUT even them, only thier skills are solid thier music arrangement not bad but, what i see in this competition is every band tend sto show off too much technical, skills crazy over do it showmanship, over dress up but these people including the yamaha judges forgot one important thing which is called "MELODY" so sad tho... well since i got involved in the Singapore music scene since 1990s till now, what i can say is Singapore bands hasnt came to a level in thier composition, something is missing, like i said too much technical(which is not even close to perfect) and there is 0 Melody, and for yer band i'd say, you have no direction, you need new singer(no time to train him now) and if me i'll dump that song in the drain (my words could be harsh but you know reading words can be decieving), honestly the yamaha judges this time round sux, deaf or just not talented or too green about music i was there watching the bands there were some very good ones, but wasnt in the final list. Anyway goodluck!

No worries bro!
Like many other bands, we're just there to have fun and enjoy ourselves onstage. We accept your criticism with an open mind, and thank you for your honesty and frankness. I don't want to justify anything, especially about the singing and arrangement part, but let's just say that this band wanted to just be ourselves onstage, no matter how short our time together nor if the whole band was down with flu. But personally, I believe that it's just not nice to judge without knowing the actual situation.

If you don't like what you hear, then maybe it's just not your cup of tea. To each his/her own. We respect all the other bands who were on that same stage on that same day, as it takes real guts to come out and play your own stuff on stage. You'd probably know the feeling. :) In my honest opinion, all the bands were great, and it's really satisfying for me to see young people come out of their shell and try to express themselves musically. Good or bad, we all have to start somewhere. Nobody's perfect on the 1st try. It's just a matter of resolve, determination and the willingness to try, try again.

As it is, due respect should also be given to the judges, as they are the ones who know the criteria for the winning band. We laymen don't know what they want, so it's kind of a gamble. Strut your stuff, and if it fits the bill, maybe you'd get it.

We have never said that we're going to win this competition and represent the country (though it'd be cool if we did), but you know, we're just gonna do our stuff, try our best and the main thing in music is, to enjoy ourselves. If you don't like what you're playing, then don't play it, I always say.

As for us, we usually listen without prejudice, but when we play, we play hard.

Peace, bro.
And thanks again!
