takamine guitars

Hi, im planning to get a cutaway acoustic/electric guitar soon, and i am quite interested in takamine/epiphone/alvarez guitars. can you guys recommend me some of their models(pricing n where to get them) that is suitable for my budget? ($500) thanks!

Luthermusic at Excelsior has some Takamines on offer. Swee Lee has a bunch of acoustic for your budget too. Go take a walk along guitar world and look around.

if u say takamine g-series acoustic-electric guitars in davis, the cheapest is $520 (jacked up their price by $20). Unless u wanna get the d-series which is much cheaper.

If u dont mind gettin other brands, there is an Ibanez PF60SCE package going for $399 in swee lee. Btw, it's solid top. Sellin fast... Also, another brand called J&D, not very well-known, has solid top acoustic-electric cutaway models with fishman pickups which is going around $300+...

Ranking Sports and Music, at Bras Basah Complex (directly opposite Swee Lee and beside Blackwood) has J&Ds. Played a 12-string dreadnought and it was sweet!

Yes, Yairis are amazing. But with a budget of $500, he can probably only buy the tuning pegs off a K.Yairi.

went music theme today, saw a J&D n its really nice but the service sucks. salesman shldnt do sacarsm; it will be bad business for the company. will prolly be getting it at ranking music, thanks all for the help!:-D

I got a guitar there. Regretted it. It was some stupid TGM acoustic. Think its the RB-20. It was a $250... A takamine g340sc cost only $75 dollars more... totally regret it
