Hi all friends & supporters .... just to let U all know that SYNE OF TYME has gone troppo ... (for the the less informed - it means permanent vacation)

BZ work schedules & other commitments etc mean that we wont be able to continue as before....IT WAS ONE HELL OF A RIDE THOUGH - starting from the S'pore Battle of the Bands, Powerjams & all the other gigs etc.

I will be continuing my session work for other rock, jazz & country bands - as axeman for hire if you will..hahaha... the rest of the guys will also follow suit. Howver., we may play one off gigs in future, provided everyone's schedule is workable.

On behalf of Col Stewart DeSouza, The M_____y ZAIN, George Mani & Dave "Mac" McKaight we bid you all a fond farewell....

firstly - thanks to james for helping me recover my password thus allowing me to sign in again.
thank you to all who supported syne of tyme all these months-yes we all had a great time and well worth it, yes i 'cabut ' from my work site a few times, postponed my u/w inspection 3 times and worked like heck the next day to catch up, screwed up my left ear (partially deaf), dyed my hair blonde-gone-wrong - ALL IN THE NAME OF ROCK & ROLL!!!!
a truly well worthy ride.
for myself, stu the bass player on SOT, i still have to clear that 'intray' of backlogged work, another cable installation job in december and a new home by january 2006.
in between there are gigs with 'the raindogs' at POW and my avant-garde ambient recording that i don't seem to be completing for the past 4 years-i might release a box set of 10 cds (joke!).
fgl -one of singapore's finest guitar player, fab frontman, frikkin' 400 GIG of songs in his head that he can play anytime...believe me!

Woah Carlos & Still water...Mud Murph's - was supposed to be ON one minute - then off...then on again ...then OFF ....(not by th eclub direct but by our agent the funkman)...cant blame anyone & blessing in disguise cause everyone is really quite BZ... stu'd post about about his schedule is just the tip of the ice berg -

My immediate gigs - an accoustic wedding gig at Sentosa on this FSaturday with new new girl singer.... then the next saturday with Riki Hendrix's & Esquires (Corporate gig)... 8 Dec Beatles show at FLUID SHOULD be on...depending ...on equiptment & turn out with my old band guys THE SHADES ...(WINNER OF THE gOLD 90.5 bEATLES CONTEST).

bro bizz2020...ya lah stoned all day with medication, got up late at ngt after baby cried (whole family down with flu - lucky u didnt raya visit my house) then decided to surf a while....crappy feeling.. BUT puas hati 2 days MC - screw the asses in the office let them handle things w/o me man...eff em all...

will try to do a link up 2moroow wt all concerned re powerjam $....Dans perhaps. Im also gonna try & run reherse with Mel for Sat Accoustic gig. Speakin of gig, pls see yr pte msg...

It quite normal bro' in local scene. They come and "poof!" they go in a blink of an eye.
As muso's, the "F" factors are the pulling points, either you are a doctors,lawyers,majistrates etc..etc.
'Fun' 'Feels' 'Freedom' and please add on to the eff list if you want, are the major pulling points.

I would love to see u guys perform together again.

Bro Zain - hope you ctc Dan abt that gig I told U about.... I heard the $ not dat good but all in good fun...

Bro Neuro - SOT is not say disbanding with members arguing, fighting, lawsuits etc haha..we just takin a permanent break from this project BUT we still may do the occassional gig as SOT once in a while. As previously mentioned by me, Stu & Zain ... our schedules are teriibly busy with family, day work & other bands & while we love'd to be able to make SOT a full
tyme thing ...it's just not on the cards ....

I feel bad though about David McKaige - our recent new recruit keyboard player - all this after only 1 gig and a slew of cancelled gigs...Anyone out there needs a good COMMITTED keyboard player let me know, I pm Bro Dave's ctc to you.

Bro George Mani will be joining me for the 3pc accoustic wedding gig this Sat, where we get to try out our new female vox Melissa. mani will be also instrumental in the upcoming SHADES line up for the Beatle / Liverpool night upcoming at Fluid....
