Hey guys, i would like to know how long did you all get to master sweep picking?

picking a spot to sweep.


okay kidding. it's err making a very harp-like sound on your guitar. like playing a chord, but individual note in succession. like any other technique, sweep picking will take you some time to master. you don't want any noise when you lift your finger, neither do you want the notes to ring.

it depends on how often you practice,the way you practice and what you practice i guess..

depends on the pattern also...some patterns require ur fingers to move alot. i cannot sweep tt pattern as fast also.

I dunno i've been practicing sweep lately..
wonder how long i'm gonna get it..
I'm doing like 14 , 13 , 17p12 , 13 ... something like that..

Btw, the 7621 is great for those 3 octave sweeps.... trying to work out something weird now...
