hey guys. i've reached a limited that i have trouble learning sweeping
kind of hard to get it right

can anyone help me on the correct technies and those common types of sweeping like G or A notes?

go slow at first, then speed up when your right hand gets more stronger and steadier...

paul gilbert has excellent sweeping techniques. search up paul gilbert on youtube. theres a lesson on sweepign arpeggios available.

cheers ;)

i don't think pg has good sweep techniques...his is string skipping...check out this guy francesco fareri for sweeps. or jason becker

pg doesnt sweep much. try steve vai, not bad. malmsteen good too. but my vote goes to jason becker! woots!

Mr Jason Becker has some good sweeps that cover your standard shapes & patterns... I would think that his sweeps are quite "basic" in terms of pattern/shape but to attain his smoothness & stamina, well... 8O

If you wish to move to something more advanced, even exotic or more un-usual, you should check out players like Scott Henderson, Frank Gambale & even Richie Kotzen (as mentioned above). Frank Gambale is ridiculous though...

i'm having the same problem as u man.....

really hard to do a sweep....
been trying alot still can't get it rite....

so sad T_T

maybe tats the limit of my guitar skills ba

if sweeping is a struggle...

there is one song that has a lesson vibe in simple arpreggio patterns and sweeping. a very strong melodic instrumental with arpreggios n sweeps used as build ups. friendly to play along.

Message in a dream - Vinnie Moore on his 1988 'time odyssey'.

have fun learning.
