Gilby Clarke will be raking in big $$, apart from the bands royalty - songwriting, lyrics ka-ching. he offered to produce Dilana's future album, ka-ching. getting her band to tour along, they'll rake in major bucks, having the 2 rockers with the most votes throughout the program. the turnout should be massive, one excellent business deal.

personal highpoint from both seasons, the super versatile House Band. Rafael jusitified every guitar he switched thru his Bogner backline, be it LP, SG, V, 335, tele or strat. wont mind watching more seasons of this dude.

SUPERNOVA Is Officially Renamed ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA - Sep. 20, 2006

MTV.com reports that a court order barring the "Rock Star: Supernova" band (featuring Tommy Lee, Jason Newsted, Gilby Clarke and now vocalist Lukas Rossi) from using the moniker SUPERNOVA has forced the act to amend its name to, er, ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA, in deference to a California band that already holds the rights to the name. According to Reuters, an Epic Records spokesperson confirmed the altered name. The label will release the band's debut LP on November 21, and two tracks — "It's All Love" and "Be Yourself & 5 Other Cliches" — are available for streaming at this location. ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA will launch a 28-city North American tour with THE PANIC CHANNEL (which features the show's co-host Dave Navarro) in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve.
