Oh well, ultimately the choice is up to them i guess, i agree that i've not been impressed with the supernova songs they have showcased so far on the show, i might just check out the album cos they are great musicians in their own right. Hopefully the album is better than what we've seen/heard so far. So far its been very pop/rock when i expected something heavier from them esp since you have ex members of G&R, motley crue and metallica.
Eh, luckily Toby didn't win because his original song would be wasted on a crappy band.
Supernova is marketed as a "dirty and heavy rock and roll band", but the truth is, their just bad, boring pop-rock. They said ex members of these established bands, but the truth is,
Gilby Clarke only helped play concerts and covers, he also got kicked out of GNR because Axl said he was too uncreative.
Jason Newstead didn't actually contribute anything to Metallica's music, bass was never a prominent instrument in Metallica after Cliff Burton died.
Tommy Lee, well Motley Crue was never that good at all anyway.
Luckily Lukas won, because he lacks as much as them (go listen to his original).

I agree wif blank sayin dat his ori song will be wasted in Supernova... But da thing is many band r goin da same direction as Supernova is nowadays.. Even Velvet Revolver 2 me sound like Supernova or vice-versa. VR didnt showcase much of Slash guitar Works(which was y i love GNR)... And all u see now r more n more crappy new bands bein form... And if theres a gd band formed, is it another band dat decide 2 go back 2 basics....nothin newor original...

but i'm disappointed wen i heard superniva's originals..from the bands those guys originated from, i'd expect heavier sounds..n who says heavy music dont sell nowadays?
btw velvet revolver still got showcase slash's guitar works lah..juz not much in their 1st 2 singles fall to pieces n slither..but they're awesome..unlike supernova's originals lah..at least got tt ballsy2 sounds..

well true VR sounds beta den supernova but not as gd as GNR(Original).... Cappiege... N juz dat da guitar works of slash in VR is nt dat much really.. There is but not really dat much.. 2 me lah.... Dats my opinion.. N yes hard rock do still sell.. But i guess da music style Supernova headin 2wards sells even beta (not dat i am in favour)... but I guess coz if not y wud Supernova along wif many other bands do dat....
Well rockstar 2 me is juz a gimmick 2 make $$.. Another Survivor in music form... I dun believe they seriously tink dat a trio wif a reality show winner 2 make a big impact in da music scene... Its all abt da dough...

lukas rossi is a total ripoff cover boy of radiohead. His original headspin sounds so much like creep, too much already. I was upset when i heard the song.
