Superillegal Fudgemaker

one night,a figure emerges in his house standing before his pedal creations and collections...

then....the next thing you know, you will see AEnimic at TAGS.

I given up trying to steal bro Edder bro's pedals already

I did study electronics back in poly, and have some modules in uni which require electronics. However i studied most of the workings of opamps, transistors, and other such pedal related things from the greatest teacher of the modern world: the internet.

I would say making pedals helped my studies more than my studies helped me make pedals.

Why waste money for school !!!

*we dont need no education* zhang dede zhang dede zhang ...

wow cool.

im studying electronics in poly. (1st yr now)

i hope by 2nd yr i can do some pedal-making like you

i want to put a fuzz factory in the guitar (hint:matt bellamy)

it's not possible bockscar. i'm second year and look where i am now? it looks so easy on the schemetics but finding the parts is hard. and those free schemetics lying around in the internet are riddled with errors and faults. don't make pedals! just buy them!

Info on TAGS2007 posted in the gigs/concerts section!

For those interested to hear the Fudgemaker in action, come down for Rock The Sub! From 2pm onwards!

JSUK, (yeah i know... i'm doing a Farid now) I'm trained in chemicals and work in the chemical industry but I build pedals and mess with electronics on the side.

You don't need no education... probably untrue cos education is always good. From what I've heard, most of the electronics syllabus now are focused on digital and other high end stuff and programming. Unless if you're designing pedals using PICS then that know how would be excellent and if you try hard enough you could do a Line6.

I learn all my electronics thro the internet and TONS of books from the National Library and Application Datasheets from the semiconductor manufacturers. Read and devour every information you can find. Look at every schematic posted, build as much as you can, take notes. See the similarities. Break up the schematics into blocks and recognise those blocks.

yea i'm in ns now and haven't had any studies in electronics and such, learnt everything from the internet and some library books. i'm definitely not as good as edder or ark or goose, but i'm still learning. currently i can only mod all the common pedals (ds1, phase90 etc), basic stuff. but still learning lots! and making lots of mistakes too! which adds on to the learning! :)
