Strong Velcro.

Ok. I need help. Does anyone know where I can get really really strong velco? I'm talking like industrial strength, coz the last two sets of velcro I bought have been really disappointing. My pedals are still falling all over the place.

Thanks.

same. i think there are no particularly strong velcros around. Did think of using the pedal screws to "mount" on a custom pedalboard idea... but i haven't made one and wonder if it works at all.

3M? They really mean it when they label their stuff industrial strength. The tape is pretty tricky when it sticks on you.

gonna revive this topic abit, anyone knows where i can get this 3M velcro? the thin velcro strips i bought from a hardware shop don't stick too well.

the bigger hardware stores should have it...homefix or something. that stuff really works,i can turn my pedalboard upside down and the pedals still stick to the board.

the velcro may be strong... my velcro was strong.. no matter how i shook the pedal board....the pedals didnt fall off... however.. overnight the pedals fell off... with the sticky tape on em..and the velcro bit still stuck to the board... i invested in a tube of elephant super glue... and now the velcro is back in place and very.very strong.

umm for industrial strength velcro, wot u can buy is something like those 3M ones.
It's not ur traditional velcro with the hooks and furry side
Rather both of the sides are like little bristles, and u have to really use quite a bit of force to click the 2 sides to together. They can really hold, so strong that the sticky part comes off instead when u try to pry them apart.

As for sticky stuff, glue isnt really a good option in my opinion. Get the 3m double sided foam tapes. Those can really stick.

tape will always be tape la... i guess its easier to remove from the pedal compared to super glue. but The super glue is really a just use it and can forget about the problem.

and its hell lot cheaper compared to 3m tape.

but wont using such strong stuff cause difficulties in removing the pedal or removing the remains of the sticky stuff on the pedal next time?
