Stripping guitar finish

I was seized with this sudden urge to refinish my guitar - epiphone casino cherry from a gloss to satin finish. In terms of feel. Anyone knows where I can get it done? Anyone tried this before? any pros/cons to be aware of? thanks for the inputs

Hmm, strip to natural finish ala John Lennon? Hahaha, it may cost u a bomb to do that. Best to leave it as it is

there was a guy in providing his service on this in the guitar misc buy sell a long time ago. charged really cheaply but never sent anything to try!

yea bro! The gloss is really.. icky after awhile! On a serious note it does make a difference in terms of sound so I would like to give it a go! I thought i would be affordable within 150> range! hmmm perhaps I should leave it as it is!
