im using a craftsman SG copy and i need to change my strings urgently cuz i snapped the original ones...which gauge should i use and which brand?

hey dude...i would advise you to get use to lighter gauge first...then switch to heavier ones....

you will then decide what type of gauge to use....after using & comparing them....considering the types of songs that you usually play.

I guess these are up to your own preference? Personnally I prefer ernie ball strings with .09... They are good and easy to play with :wink:

Snake Oil strings

Apparently they last many times longer than normal strings, uncoated. Been raved about on TGP. Pretty excellent tone!

saw a thread on that on mr misse's forum. they doing a mass order thingy... 9 USD per pack
