Thanks for the offer but i will be bring my 57 ri down to GC for pickguard change and setup soon. Hopefully i can get my desired pups and shielding done at the same time.

For now the hunt is still on for noiseless pups.

PS: i checked out the mrmisse forum and think the bill lawrence mo is over. Think i might try to order direct from them or get a set of fender hot noiseless off ebay sellers.

That's cool. You know who to look for at GC - KC's the man.

You might want to drop by the Seymour Duncan forum to check out the Classic Stack Plus. Rave reviews, but read with a pinch of salt.

If you're interested you can also come over try out my MIM strat with Classic Stack (older version). From what I gather, the Plus and the older version are quite different sounding, but nevertheless the older version has its advantages.

By the way, where did you buy your shielding paint?

I bought the shielding paint second hand. Yep, you can actually buy these things off others!

But retail-wise, I don't know of any. If I run out and need more, stewmac.com i guess.
