Strat = Guitar Hero?

strats are great guitars... can be versatile too.. :D i personally like the shape alot and wish to own one daphne blue with maple neck strat... haha... will work on it soon...

imo, fender telecasters are nicer than strats

especially if one is equipped with a parsons B-bender :D

bring on the twang!

i LOVE a telecaster.. but the selector positionn i cannot man... coz i switchh alot when im playing.. and i really mean ALOT.. so most comfortable ones are RG/Fender strat selector positions..

Ever wondered why players like Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton who used les paul initially convert to a strat later? Hmmm there must be some attraction to this 50th year old guitar.... 8)

i think it is true that a strat is generally more versatile than an LP (lest u are using the Ace Frehley model). so yea.

U know wad, they were paid a large sum of money to play the strats. Initially clapton was using a Gibson SG. Often the guitars u see players use live are not the guitars they record with.

No doubt the strat is a very versatile instrument. I do feel that a strat should be a 3 single coil affair. U want humbucker, look for a Gibson or a Ibanez.

I think a complete player would be one with a lespaul, a strat, a tele and an ibanez rg. SGs would be good too. haha.

If u want more power den go for stacked pickups in strat. They retain the single coil sound but with humbucker power! haha. Humless too.

Remember strat = single coil sound. But its ur guitar, ur free to do anything u want.

yeah i believe so.. it shoud be single coil affair.

but what the heck.. line6 even has modelling guitarsalready...
so *shrugs*.. things wilhave to change somehow one way or another

thatswhy my pref is with the les paul.

anyway, wht do you mean by Strat = guitar hero...
to alot of les paul users its rather crappy sweeping statement

jimi page? remember? slash? gary moore also, until he decides to make his own. zakk wylde, bob marley james hetfield,

i strongly feel that stratocasters are underrated guitars...no one likes them... yes it may be a simple, primitive and unappealing shape to some people... but music is about tone right??? anyways, i hope this post wont get anyone worked up...

i find telecasters are more appealing than stratocasters. maybe it's because it's not as widely use as strato? personally i like telecaster more than stratocaster.

but seriously, it's due to personal preference. just have the 'great feel' while playing it, and the sound is good. shape wise. i doesn't matter THAT much

spikes ur wrong that no one likes them... haha
U just haven seen the other side yet.

Strats rock... Not to say the rest sucks.

I mean look at jimi hendrix with strat...
Imagine wad he can do with a super strat like ibanez....
I cannot comprehend.

Strat is comftable (playability)

I have a Les Paul Gold Top but now I'm really planning to get a Fender Strat.

Subtle things like the removed edges that does not hit the ribs and arm surely makes a lot of room to play. The hand rolled fretboard is another plus.

And personally, I like the Hum. It's raw.

I love Fender Strat clean sound... So warm..

I still love Fender Strat.. especially the vintage 60s to 70s model..

sighh... most peeps feel that ibanez is so much better to use cause of artist endorsment...

Its not because of artist endorsement.. they have the bang for buck, 24 frets RG, good upper access, smooth neck, locking trem, locking nut. How can u say its not versatile.

I didnt say its much better than strat. I'm just saying u can create more sounds from it.
