Hmm.

i do believe a "silent" guitar is a nylon / steel-strung instrument which has an on-board pickup and pre-amp and an out-put jack for the user to plug their headphones into for "silent" practising lah.

TGM has a copy of the yamaha model, but IMO it doesn't seem to come close in terms of aesthetics. It looks cobbled together with pre-existing components, and not exactly high-quality or even mid-quality parts.

The yamaha might be your best bet.

I can only think of baby size guitars - they can't get as loud as a normal sized one - but hardly anywhere near silent.

If you want a muffled, small guitar, you can try Yamaha Guitarlele. Its poorly made. Its small. Its really low volume. Its a nice way to spend 100.

Yup....TGM has it....it's abt 280 with case at ranking sports and music if not mistaken.....I used to have it abt 1 year ago....mine is the steel string one....that time i wanted the yamaha but didn't want to spend a lot of money on an acoustic guitar...so I just bought the TGm...

The overall looks is alrite imo....it's very light and the neck is comfy( quite similar to fender c profile)....sounds good unplugged.....everything looks perfect before you plug it in to the amp.....

the sounds is a bit imbalance. The bass strings sounds way louder that the rest....and also a bit too bright....sounds like a cheap electric guitar.....

So if you want to buy a silent guitar that u can carry to play it unplugged on the beach with ur gf, then u just buy it.....if you want to have a serious gig machine...then u just forget it and buy the yamaha........Hope this help bro

this is the old pic of it :

aiya, i like the yamaha one, but really cant afford, my mother was almost fainted when she saw the price of the yamaha.. :D

anyway, is the yamaha silent guitar that's good and really worth for the money, coz i heard some yamahas are overpriced??

thanks
