bro neuro...hope u dig the dimarzio super distortion dp 101 dual sound I sold U... BTW U should check out Dimarzio pages for the tech guide...will help you have a musical picture of the tone of the pick ups u are intrested in... depending on the make and tone of yr guitar that is..for example bassier sounding sound really fat & sing on swamp ash bodies etc...

My guit body is a Basswood, so will the Dp101 sing on that kinda wood material?

my JEM JR's basswood. it has dual sound in the bridge. it sings man...the harmonics ring real well!

By the way, If the pickup is non F-spaced, will it affect the tone?

according to shredcow, i think F spaced is only to fit ur pup in? i think my JEM must have F spaced

my neck was a HFH courtesy from shredcow, but i didnt upgrade my mid. hardly use my mid :lol:

but i tell u. i also upgraded my ILT1 to a gotoh and it kicks ass! i think someone selling a gotoh for $90. go replace ur trem. then wif the great pups, i'm blasting away!!! WOOO will post OM soon :wink:

you can fit f-spaced or normal pickups in a guitar. its just that for f-spaced pickups, the pole pieces spaced correctly such that the strings are right above it, as it is the case on a floyd rose guitar, the spacing of the strings are slightly different from that of another bridge

Bro neuro ...as i explained earlier...F space - 3 small holes & non F space 2 small holes...the length of the pole alignments are millimiters wider.

BTW wat rocks 2 others made not rock 4 U dats why I say sound / tone is very personal but generally dual sound and/or super distortion is the workhorse pick up of the industry and flagship of DiMarzio...balanced & tight focused sound.

Yep Paf Pro in the neck the way to go with maybe a Virtual Vintage solo in the mid. HS2 / 3 are nice & quiet but seem to lack power to match with paf pro/dual sound.

BTW I still got my Sperzel locking tuners I wanna leggo - only $60 if anyone interested. 8)
