Sunday's opening set at the Powerhouse stage was similar to Saturday's sound. Not sure whether For Better Endings' guitarist intended to scoop his guitar sound until so chia lat, can't hear it through the mix when he solos.
But when it came to Zero Sequence's set, the overall sound was perfectly balanced. They must have really made a great effort to balance it, wonder if they brought their own sound tech? Could hear every instrument at different parts of their set, including the hundred-and-one keyboards they had there. Vocals were amazingly clear and cut through the mix very well.
Anberlin, well, there was definitely some sort of loose connection for his mic at the start. The volume of the vocals was as high as all the other instruments combined, but somehow it didn't cut through. Was it eq'ed wrongly, or was it because of his ripped vocal chords? Couldn't tell.. I listen to death metal, black metal, viking metal and troll metal even, but my throat still hurts for stephen when he sang.. His acoustic set voice over at the Arena stage was much better with in-pitch singing and stable vibratos on long notes.
Zero Sequence set, imo, was the best set on Sunday overall. Mang's vocals + band's precision and sound balance.
