Sonar X1 - amazing!

I still think the cellos is too soft. Maybe you bring it out at 2:00-2:20, I think that is better, cos I hear more note from the cello part than volin part. I'm not too sure cos the cello level is low. Other part 3:00-3:35. The low note will actually deepen the mood.

For the reverb, I'm not very sure for doing this way. For Logic, each track is a stereo track. Mono or stereo material is just an object. I was told for Protools each track are mono. Sometime have to send L and R track.

Better discuss more about the piece on the other thread (under OM). This is for discussion on Sonar.

To wrap up, I'll increase the cellos. The reverb - that's what the sound engineer friend told me. It's one way of widening the reverb. It certainly gives a different feel and sounds different. I was told that would make things sound together + widening. I was also told never to apply separate reverb to individual tracks, but to send them in groups to a common reverb bus. Tracks sent to one reverb bus will sound more together.

Yup. Reverb is one of heavy processes around, especially working on convolution reverb. It is common to bus to one reverb. Some will break into long reverb and short reverb bus.

This is other example on working with reverb in the middle of the clip:

This is clip is actually my "first" lesson about busing.:p
