Solutions for mesa problem.

Hey dudes, wondering if any of you guys who has a mesa, has ever experienced this problem. My mesa head is not as loud as it is supposed to be. I have changed the tubes, and it still isn't as loud as it was the first time i got it...
I have tried changing the head to a laney, and the laney is so much more louder than the mesa.
So it cant be the cause of a faulty cable, or the cause of a faulty cab. Any suggestions as to why i'm experiencing this problem?

( btw: its a mesa triple rect.)
Thanks!

i'm not sure if your perceived lack in volume is actually the case. but if you crank it and you still don't find it loud... then something is obviously wrong.

if you're not that good with electronics i would recommend you to hand the head over to a tech, who could troubleshoot it safely, diagnose the problem accurately, and nip any possible problem in the bud. i personally recommend randolf, he does great work.

okay, thanks all i'll try the above mentioned. the volume's fine when im playing directly plugged into the cab, but not fine when im recording... But it shouldnt be the case, cause the laney wasnt cranked that loud and it was going through the same extention cable unit. That is why i find it peculiar...

check your send return volume. the mesa efx loop vol is made with a volume output as well at the back. in this case, it can be used for the triple recto as a 'master volume'. so that volume may be low. try turning off the efx loop then play the same way with efx loop off. if its not the tubes and stuff, this should solve your problem.
