How about The Pavilion at Far East Square? That's where Mayhem played. The crowd would be small there though....Max Pav is huge...I think it didn't do justice to the crowd at Slayer the last time...

Astaroth: Yup, I somewhat agree. The mix over there wasn't all that great, especially when the guitars were attempting to harmonise. However, at the moment, I just can't seem to think of many other possible standing covered venues of 'small-mid size' to house a gig like Soilwork....
