and i don't wanna offend any1 in any way...
but i'm thinking the soft splash page is kinda...
erm... not so nice?

i mean it may just be me. and i hope i'm not
being insensitive or something...

i mean there're plenty of great flyer designers
here. i wudnt mind contributing my own bit. but then
i'm only good with pen and paper and illustrated
artwork...

what do you need a splash page for anyway? it's so 1990's

because when i upgrade CMS software or do testing, i will create another directory, for example, www.soft.com.sg/web1.

when confirmed ok, i will rename the directory.

if i have the CMS on the root directory, very difficult for me to do testing/upgrading without distrupting the whole site.

it is the same reason why we have receptionist. when i visit a company, i go to the recept and say, "James here to see gsonique". then the recept will look for gsonique and arrange for me to wait at the comfy sofa.

imagine without the recept, if gsonique is not available, i will be stuck.

i have a suggestion.

lets get the following SOFTies to model and take a photo to replace the splash :

1) tall well built guy with crew cut hairstyle wearing black shirt / blue jeans.
2) hot chick with pink dyed hair tied up , wearing sports bra and hotpants + sitting on a vespa lime/cyan bike.
3) skinny guy, red spikeback hair , dark army green shirt, black pants.
4) and a bald tanned guy with oakleys red lens , singlet and grey pants (inclusive of stuffed underwear so his crotch sticks out like the animation) with a red fender strat or something.

location : err don't know. lim chu kang rd or something.
