Now I wanna change the wiring a little...
My guitar is an SG copy, so it has 4 knobs.
I'm thinking of doing a few mods to it:
1) Take out two knobs, and replace em with 2-position mini-switches (Switch 1 and Switch 2)
2) The two remaining knobs will become master tone and master vol.
3) Switch 1 will toggle between humbucking and single coil sounds
4) Switch 2 will toggle between normal and variation.
With this mod, hopefully I'll have a little more tonal variety...
When switch 2 is at normal, switch 1 toggles between standard humbucking (coils in series) and single pickup sound (coils in parallel).
When switch 2 is at variation, switch 1 will toggle between an unique humbucking sound with the pickups' centre taps connected to each other, and a true single coil sound, without humbucking.
You get what I'm trying to say?
Anyway.. the wiring diagram -
Where can I get such a project done and how much would it cost me?
