SLASH Epiphone Signature

I used to have an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Black Beauty. Weighed a ton.

Swapped those pups for some Seymour Duncans (59 and JB), and the guitar was damn close to a Gibby LP.

But the truss rod went in half way only... Got rid of it for the Edwards...

I also dont understand why ppl care so much for the shape of a headstock, so it'll look like a gibson??

nahh, somehow the Epiphone Headstock looks like a Brocoli, it doesnt look as "mean" as it should.

i do not mind the ELITIST headstocks though, but NOT the regular Epiphone ones .

the slash one looks pretty decent. its at swee lee going at about 1.1k or was it 1.4k SGD. It has the actual SD pickups and the exteneded tenon. I played it and i think its worth the price on it. Note that it is before their usual discount.

it sounds like a les paul if thats wat u seek. with the right tweaking u can get a slash-like sound. Wat i really liked was the prophecy series as many of u guys mentioned. Jumps right into overdrive and steals my heart for its price.

by turning the truss rod... you'll find the neck only bends halfway. the remaining part was still straight as an arrow. Apparently, Epis are all like that. I was told. Not sure how accurate, but that's the case with mine.

That's why I SWEAR off Epis...

Interesting, do share how you came by that information. as for me, i love the les paul's tone, but the feel just isn't there, plus the blocky heel joint is a damn big turn off.

im in malaysia...see la one day i call just to see how much...
but since LP is 1369...i guess the SG will be slightly cheaper...
either way its still expensive
