I used to have the first snakepit siggy model. That one felt like a toy... this one seems more serious, especially with the extended neck tenon. Might be a good guitar to bash around with... The Alnico IIs are a nice touch...

Love the colour though...

YES!!finally can get that tobacco burst kinda colour on an epiphone.but i dont care about slash.can just take off the truss rod cover and replace with a epiphone gibson truss rod cover.just wondering how this would cost?

I used to have a red slash signature edition Epi LP many years back. Used to play and sound sub-average. In fact I haven't used any Epi which sounds like a real classic Gibson.

probably the snakepit one. and if you do find one that sounds like a classic gibson, let me know. they're sold UNDER gibson itself, as a cheaper way of getting the image and SOMETHING like the tone of a gibby, naturally they wont want their sub par products sounding like authentic stuff. they'd lose money. :lol:

the prophecy series is seriously hothothot. The flame in the les pauls and sgs are hothothot. The explorer is drool worthy but a little oddly shaped. Go check out the new epiphones at sweelee. O and there's this chameleon les paul. The colour's a little odd but quite cool cause it can change. Aiya, just go see.

how abt the EBMM JP model forgot wad the color's called but if look straight on its purple but changes color at different angles. mirage smth arh. forgot liao.

Epi has a similar look. On the Les Paul Chameleon. A bit brighter than Mystic dream, and more green than maroon. Kinda cool...
