Show your relic-ed gear!

I thought it might be suitable. Acoustics, electrics, basses, or even your pedals and amplifiers. Let's see them!

Mine is my 8-year-old Samick acoustic. Banged around a lot, even had its top painted and then the paint removed. You could say it was purposely relic-ed. I added some stickers and they're still there. Sounds excellent still, but some problems with the tuners, but no point replacing them unless I'm selling Black Beauty here. The pictures aren't clear but you'll notice that the top's finish is now very uneven with some parts darker and some parts lighter and rougher.

Lets see some relics!

Hahaha
After seeing you post your acoustic, heres mine.
11 year old Fender DG7 Acoustic. Naturally wear thru playing by many pairs of hands from schools, friends, been through majority of void decks playing, home playing, performing etc etc. Been through abuse, rain, accidental drops etc.
Still sounds good and playable as always.

Come on ppl post more!

rottenramone: side track alittle, placing you basses in that kind of stand will have no problems right? I read a few posts regarding neck warping etc..

This is my idea of a relic, done by blewraincoat, technically its not a relic, but I think this qualifies. The brown stuff you see, is RUST. REAL lovelovelovelovelovelovelovelove RUST, he's a genius to come up with that idea. I'll upload again after I stencil my band logo on one of the fins.

i have no probs so far. the foam bits might stick to the wood after a while, which is why i place a cloth between stand and guitar, preventing contact with each other.
