SHOW WHAT YOU BOUGHT!

Back to the topic at hand....

So far it's all about guitars. What happened to all the drummers and bassists?

My purchases at the sale.

16" HH Thin Chinese
16" AA Thin Crash

Was lucky. Saw the HH Thin Chinese in someone else's hands when I got in. Changed my mind to go for the AAX performance pack instead. Then as I was queuing to pay for it, I noticed that the Thin Chinese was back on the rack. Thank you to whoever the guy who decided not to buy the china! :D

managed to grab an SWR LA 15 and a TS9DX for myself!
the TS9DX is AWESOME (i'm using it on bass) and what most guitarists complained about, the TURBO fuction, which seemed to boost too much "bass" for their electric guitars, it does wonders for a bass! currently hooked on the TURBO and HOT settings.

a steal at 500 and 125 respectively. :D

sorry i dont have my camera with me now, dexian borrowed it, hence no pictures =(

how much did the ts9dx cost you? i was searching for it a little but couldnt find it, so hurriedly grabbed a ts7 instead.

yup, same ol' finish...

having bought this guitar, my stand on Gibson LPs in general is still that it's a victim of questionable assembly/ finish competence.

No complaints for me. My LP Studio has so far stood the test of time and playing. *Fingers crossed*.

That said, I've never laid it on anything else except its case. I'm no chemistry expert but it doesn't take rocket science to figure nitrocellulose is a very weak finish.

Happy playing on your new Gib!

For a such expensive guitar, I sometimes wonder why it dun come with a shielded cavity....a very common complain among LP players and at times, you might get a guitar that is not grounded properly...

substandard production issues still plague the Les Paul Std... you'd think that over time, this matter would be addressed by the manufacturer, what more with the existence of other desireable singlecuts but it's not about to undergo that repentence any time soon...

i already stated the price, 125. you should push the staff to get one for you, they had "backup" stock in a room in a corner.
