Woah... so OP is still around? Lost touch with them so many years ago. They r the pioneers of Spore's music scene! Kudos to Rui for doing tiz gig and short history write up.

My band wanted to write some Chinese songs back then but like all "eat potato" Chinese cannot write for nutz! Too bad I'm overseas now or else sure go down and watch OP (and the others of course) play!

BTW does anyone know of Chinese band playing harder stuff?

Yes there are. Bands like La'Dies (gothic rock/metal), Tian Di Hui (progressive rock) and Fuzzyplanet (nu-metal) might suit your hard-music tastes.

Had lots of fun at the gig! Crowd response was awesome!

Apologies for the hiccups and delays. Upon arriving at the venue, the soundman and I realised that the equipment (especially the drums) was badly trashed by the bands playing the night before. Had to do some last minute fixing up and all.

I had so much fun that I wished I could stay throughout! But alas, I've got to wake up for work 5.30am. Had to catch some sleep lol.

All the bands rocked! Especially Razzle Play. Looks like their CD single sold like hotcakes ah. Autograph pleeeeeeeeeassse!

Nice gig, +1 to Rui. Hope this show can bring some awareness and let more chinese bands have a platform to sharpen their skills. Yesterday,all bands were awesome but i feel they should play more originals more local taste. Yummy!!

14. Black Foest cant be part of the may 4th event, due to oversea commitments.
15. Check out the all girls band "Tuzhi" performing on may 4th.
16. Check out Tripartite Conspiracy performing on june 1st, a new china punk band with dj.

Since Black Forest couldn't perform;
Tuzi and yixuanfeng were selected but due to they got into Superband top 16, contract stated couldnt have public performance for 1 year. hence. the lineup for may 4th as below;
