Should I get Samson CO1U for Vocals and electric guitar? I aimed for something that can get good quality sounding both on vocals and guitar.....And my budget ard 150 for recording mic....

I know alot would recommend me mixers and since this is usb powered.... ....but after reading reviews on this mic , i thought of buying it....any users??recommendations??thankz..

and by the way how much issit??

Btw forgive my last post about the cheap mic thingy:)

It's...not bad looking actually...have you thought about other cost of it? Like getting a mic stand and how are you going to record guitar with this? IMO, don;t get the Samson CO1U.

I think you'll be much better off saving up for a Zoom H2, It can do similar stuff as the Samson CO1U and you also use it as a portable recorder for jamming or just record anything, the sound quality of it is top notch, you can use it as an audio interface too. Much much more versatile.

actually my budget is ard 150 only...how much is the zoom h2 and issit works like a mic that can connect via usb to computer?...

And why do u say i shouldnt get the samson co1u??Because I can hear top quality sound from jeremyspk http://myspace.com/jeremyspk ....

I second the idea of Zoom H2. much more versatile than the samson you mentioned. google it or search youtube to know more. check with city music for the price.

Because a H2 is much more all in one device as compared to the samson mic and it can work the same way too which is to be use as a usb mic. Give one situation: When your PC/laptop is down, the H2 can still work as standalone device while the Samson is dead without a computer host. Next, You can bring H2 to whatever you want to record jamming and shits without having the need to lug along a laptop and mic stand. You get what I mean?
