Shop space

anyone here wants to comment on ebenex's shop space in general?

i feel that the centre display case should go. products should be located at the sides. this way, there'd be more waiting area in the middle.

The display case in the centre sure as hell blocks alot of passage way, but at the same time induces lots of GAS-eous drool!

ebenex should just get a bigger shop imo. and alot of the pedals are like hidden from view.. its already crowded when theres 4 person inside.

hehe, in my opinion Ebenex should do away with the centre glass display and also do away with majority of the guitars up on sale, and use that space for pedals. maybe wall mount the guitars or something. = P

the shop space is way TOO small but we are committed to stay till march.

i've explored the possibility of opening in bukit timah as well as central - saw a few units in beauty world, bt shopping centre, bt plaza, bugis etc. but with the current rental market, it will translate to higher overheads = higher prices, which i am trying my best to avoid.

hence, we will be renovating the shop, most probably after the june holidays - removing all the guitars and basically having pedals everywhere!

the stock at the back will go out too to make more room for testing.

any good renovating ideas? anyone really good with interior design who wish to offer a few tips?

p.s. anyway, from now till march, it'll give us time to consolidate our position as the 1-stop guitar effects place in singapore. right now, the hype's even spread to Malaysia and we wish to be the no.1 guitar effects specialist in the region one fine day!

this thread is pretty interesting.

we will be staying in roxy square till next march.

after which, we'd be moving somewhere more central. preferably a shophouse unit but that presents parking problems etc.

anyway, we'll see how it goes. always keeping a look-out for a good place.

ang moh kio is actually quite central, geographically speaking.

for those of you guys living in serangoon/ang moh kio/hougang etc, i'd suggest you visit encore! studio to try the pedals.
