USACG Pau Ferro fretboard, maple neck, 22 frets, reverse headstock

USACG Quilted wild maple top, 1 piece mahogany body - carved/arched top

Gotoh Floyd Rose (using callanham springs for more mojo! )

Gotoh Tuners

2 x Bill Lawrence L200 single coils
1 x HAS Sound Legacy humbucker

500k Allparts long shaft vol pot (damn the arch top, I don't like this pot)
500k Dimarzio pot with Bill Larence Q filter
Fender 5-way switch

Malcolm put it all together... and for one thing ah, Malcolm's fretjobs are better than the USACG fretjob pictured above. The dunlop frets USACG use, they tarnish easily, unlike the special fretwire Malcolm uses.

I think I can don't want to play for Daphne liao. What say you?

WTF. THAT WORK PLACE. IT LOOKS FREAKING FAMILIAR SHREWCOW.
DON"T TELL ME U"RE THE GUY WHOSE GUITAR HAD THE BLUE LED LIGHTS AND LED POWER SWITCH WITH THE WEIRD DESIGN!

EVERYTHING IN THAT BACKGROUND, I JUST SEEN IT RECENTLY.
ESPECIALLY THE PARTIAL-SHOWN ORANGE PIC HANGING IN THE LEFT SIDE.

U THE GUY POSTED THAT CLASSIFIED AD ON SELLING U"RE GUITAR CAUSE OF SERVING COUNTRY BLAH BLAH?(IN LUTHERMUSIC CLASSIFIED AD, somewhere during dec last year)

LOL.

Hmm.

Hehe I still want to play For Taufik Batisah. But if can play for Daphne Khoo, why not? LOL

Nice stuff you got there man. Good for you that you got your customised axe.

Rock on my brother!!!

Nice woods make for a good looking guitar... took forever to get the neck!

The Headstock says "USA" and a horizontal line with 3 dots on top & bottom - its the www.usacustomguitars.com logo. Its actually sort of embossed into the headstock and expoxy covered. Quite a plesant surprise! I expected a decal but this is nice!

The neck shape is an Asymetrical carve, similiar to the Ernie Ball necks... but mine is 22 (or was it 24?) mm thick @ the 1st fret with a slight taper increase in thickness towards the 12th fret. Very comfortable for my style of playing...

It sounds... not bad. I MIGHT have to tweak the electronics somewhat because its quite a bit brightish (surprise surprise!) though its more likely due to my current eq settings which catered for the darker sounding Ibanez S520. I like the feel alot...

NICE, REMINDS ME OF mARK kNOFPLER'S pENSA-sHUR..

btw COWS ...how much did the body alone cost?

real nice looking guit!

fgl, the body was a "web special" of USACG. Look at the lower right corner of the body, you'll see a part that looks messed up.

Because of that, the price was slashed by about 50%... I did a calculation based on buying a new body with the same specs...

300USD as it was...

I finished it myself, applied TRU Oil by hand... I really like the look and feel of the TRU Oil, recommended by Malcolm.

Nice one Shreddy.

You change the frets before even playing it ah.... 8O

I'm still waiting for the STP 12 baritone. Ash body... arrggghhhh.... hate to finish ash bodies...

No no .... didn't change... the pic is the USACG one... looks good - they did do a good job on the frets but Malcolm can do it better...

I think you should go for the USACG parts but it would be wise to ask the staff there to help check for you if the parts fit well.

My neck pocket was routed so that it sort of funnel-ed out, like gets wider... so there's some space between the neck and neck pocket.
