the little red blob connected to my pocketPOD (as seen above) is a actually a pocket speaker. with the above setup, it's clear that you don't need an amplifier to be guitar obsessed. the only reason why i bother mentioning it here is that it offers great tone compared to the average headphones when guitar signals is concerned. it's not even $40, made in Singapore... 8-)

haha looks like just wat i need for my pocket POD!

currently connecting it to my marshall ms-2 .while that combo sounds good as it is, i always can do with sumthing better.( according to your blog hehe )
jus got a few qns:

1.where can i get it??

2.requires any batt??

1. availability: shops @ Funan/ Sim Lim Square- it's actually an MP3 accessory

2. there's an internal rechargeable battery, it recharges when you connect it via USB to your computer.

i was playing it yesterday in my room when my spouse walked in to tell my to turn my amp down- what amp? he he... honestly, the pocketPOD sounds repulsive through the MS2/ MS4

wait....that speaker can be connected via USB, pedal jack and normal earphone jack?
are all the connectors included?

well i got this mini speaker todae. It was great! gd bass response, notes were clearer.Hell of a loud monster for the size of it. i was rather happy with it UNTIL....

the 3.5mm headplug died out on me suddenly :(

AND it has only been less den 1 DAY !

guess i have 2 go hunt for a more durable one.....just wish the 3.5mm headplug was as great as the speaker..

Any idea where 2 get them cos it doesnt look really common to me.

thnks:(

^^Available in most electrical appliance shops or even some guitar shops.

Great idea. Can't wait to get the speaker too. (:

i've that. But it was for my MP3. Never thought of plugging it into mini amps and such. Good thinking there sub!:)

it was never in my practice set-up by chance, i specifically looked for a speaker alternative because the tones coming out from headphones are just too annoying.

how old is it? bring it back to the shop, tell them you bought one with faulty parts, maybe they can exchange/ repair it for you.

mine has been dropped & stepped on by my daughter- but it's still alive
