I am a self-taught Musician who started playing various instruments (mainly a Guitar) since the age of 10 and as we all know how much Local Talents aren't really recognised nor appreciated due to the lack of exposure/ public practice space, would like to discuss upon this topic.
Very often; local talents could only play/ sing along at home or studios, so as to promote more of the talents to display their skills... Starting from the majority; I would like to gather opinions on the different venues Guitarists (Mainly Acoustic/ Classical) could play along randomly. It could be a Cafe/ Park/ Stage and etc.
My suggestions:
- Void decks/ Playgrounds around the Heartlands
- With a pinch of Salt Cafe
- Garden Slug Cafe
- Marina Barrage (Might not be ideal due to inconvenience)
- Esplanade Rooftop Garden (On the weekdays)
Note: Here I am not talking about specific tunnels to Bask/ Churches to play and etc. Refers to real-time venues which people could practice at Ease.
