Ok for me, i neva experience any supernatural or ghost sighting until i went for NS BMT (Tekong), i am from Echo company, our company is beside the jungle.
And our window is facing the jungle. Everynight i will wake up as per normal to urine and smoke that is usually around 3am-4am. For weeks nothing happen.
But 1 day when i woke up, i sat on the bed, trying to find my slipper. Thn then glance at the window and lovelovelovelovelovelovelovelove sh*t, i saw a 'kakak' standing there. I was scared sh*tless, so i lie down back and cover my face with my blanket, and say some prayers. I tried to sleep but thn i gotta urine so i took one more look whether she still there and f*ck, she is still there waiting, Luckily never come near heheh, so i started sayin some prayers and try to wake my buddy up. When he woke up, she's gone Fuhhhh... Hahahha.. I actually kinda kick my buddy.
From then on i smoke and urine b4 i sleep so not to wake up in the middle of the niight. I never told my bunk mate b4, didnt bother,dun wan to scare them.
And got 1 time, i was doing guard duty at tekong during CNY, since im malay.. Me and my friend were about to go for our prowling rounds at 3am like that uh. We were walking behind the company block beside the jungle uh. Thn suddenly we heard some noise like people moving in the bushes, we freak out! We walk fast to the point of almost running, until the thing came out...... Its a wild boar.. Hahahhaha. A family actually with small piglet, lucky never chase us. But scary sia...

ok here it is, from my uncle who used to stay in this vicinity:
that Sungai Api-Api area used to be a village at the mouth of a river. the people there reared spirits/ ghosts/ whatever, as some of them were bomohs (malay medicine men), word has it that they rely on these beings for cure (not true actually) but the owner must not bring them along should they choose to move house (don't ask me why, it's the pre-requisite). as you can see today, there's no village left owing to urban development so these beings were inevitably dumped there (in numbers). the most famous of these being the penanggal (creatures with heads detached from bodies + entrails):
this uncle of mine did see one while fishing overnight @ Pasir Ris, the thing was hiding up in the trees above him. initially he felt sand-like debris falling on his head, wanting to know what caused such pelting, he looked up only to see one with a pair of red eyes hopping away across the tree canopies.

not as bad as mine- Tekong Camp 1 (now closed), low-rise barracks (that's an allusion to actually how old i am...), remember the famous Charlie Company 3rd door story? one of my mates didn't know about this door, he touched it during one of his guard duty prowling & got very sick the following morning.
there were nights when the (wooden) walls of our barracks got scratched & we hear footsteps on the roof, we didn't see what caused this... wished i saw.

ang moh ghosts are more hardcore one... if u watch discovery channel they have haunted houses and stuff... the house that posess demons and whatnot...
just the thought of it makes me scary... eeeeee....
but i wonder if people kena posess den wanna crucify or smth, they throw holy water their skin burns ah??? im still a skeptic for that sorta things..

Apparantly alot of strange things happened to me when I was younger (have to ask my mum about this first before sharing, lol)
but at my school, there's this belief during night camp that you cannot walk in odd numbers at night. so we always walk two by two or four by four. Never broke the rule because we were too frightened.

The security guard also bans us from having night walks at certain areas of the school for "our safety".
There are alot of strange stories in my school. Partly because we are next to a cemetery. (or what used to be a cemetery) Really freaky!

For those who've gone for JCC (Jungle confidence course) in Brunei, or had the "luxury" of going thru ex. chindit 1 and 2 in brunei, you'd have definitely slept on your SAF issued hammocks right?
There's this "story" told to us by the camp instructors and our instructors that we were not allowed to tie our hammocks across any thing that looked like a path - top of knolls, across tracks or across beaten paths in the jungle, as spirits of the jungle took those paths too, and we'd be blocking them.
So my section mate was damn guai lan (uh... stubborn for the non dialect speakers), and he tied his hammock across a pathway on purpose, and told us that it was all bullshit.
The minute he got onto the hammock, the whole damned thing collapsed onto the ground, and my dear section mate was covered in mud.
One version I heard was 5SIR who did the exact same thing... just that 3-4 of their guys did that, and the next morning they woke up 10-20m away from their original position.
Anybody can verify the 5SIR story?

haha i thought those people you talking about are the pesterminator ppl...coz i used to werk there and we're stationed in bushes ard tekong.and we liked to scare the recruits whenever they are patrolling or walking past...haha
