Seymour duncan Invader VS Dimebucker.

if youre still planning on getting a dimebucker, i say scrap the idea.. itll be better if you get a bill lawrence xl500. its sounds more... godlike. =D

im using a stan hinesley viper; known as HAS then, to play my so called high gain stuff. but then again, the cleans from the guitar is atrocious. id prefer a medium output pickup and use more drive from effects/amp.

regarding the teslas, i have a full set of teslas in a H-S-H setup and it's POWER! it didnt take mike alot of convincing for me to agree with the full swap.

nice....i agree that high output pups sound atrocious for cleans....but then again...im a firm believer of HSS configurations for my strat and hence i use my neck pup for cleans and since its an SC its quite nice, got that sparkle and chime from a low ouput pup.

Sell me your viper leh. May be giving those teslas a shot too.

ized: im keeping them vipers for days of chugah chugah,

teleplayer: you might want to head down to sv and have a nice chit chat with mike about what you want. im sure he'll be more than willing to share with you

nak: intending to go during march holidays.. Haha. woodlands is damn far... so i tink i will be bringing a stack of notes to buy all the things from standard value.. Haha.

I must say, the Stan Hinesley Rogue sounds amazing. Maybe its time to swap out the 81.

If you want all out power and something one step above the rogue, get the Hellion. Its a whopping 15K in power (ceramic) and can easily kill most dimarzios in terms of output but it sounds much better in terms of tone. More open, 3D and really full sounding. Cleans are also nice, which is an added bonus for a high output pickup.

Actually I've kind of switched genres now. Used to play stuff from Metallica etc. Thus the 81. Just wondering if the Hellion would do good with stuff like Foo Fighters and alt.rock style? My guitar is mahogany body anyways.
