No point keeping a database of 7 strings here: too few in the community. For Fender strats - sure, you can start a worship shrine here.
Note Marksman: like what you said the RG7321 is a "fantastic player" but only in relation to its PRICE. I've played an RG7621, the MIJ one and to me, that guitar smoked the indo/korean 7321s... gotta put things in perspective - a lot of things out there are so-called "fantastic" only because of their price point, more than their real quality.
That said...
A couple of things to note: What string guage will you be playing on the 7 string? I found with a .9s set, the low B string was pathetically flubby. Hopeless for drop A tunning (which IMO is THE 7 string tuning, not the standard B tuning) but if you use 10s, its fine. Or replace that low B string with a thicker string in a .9 set... but that would change the feel.
And... 22 frets vs 24? Look at your current guitars, how much time do you spend playing around that area? No? When you play your 24 fretter. do you bend a lot at the 24th fret? No? Then just go for a 22.
This 22 vs 24 thing is sometimes... just... for the sake of "more".
Finally... I think 7 strings should be in extended scale. 25.5" is ... too loose lah.
