Hi everybody, I'm a begginer at guitar and just bought one few days ago. Im trying to play with a pick now and always miss the 1st string and scratch the body of the guitar.

Is there any ways which i can prevent this?? There are now a lot of small scratches below the 1st string... And its pretty obvious since it has a shiny body...

learn to play properly so that you WON'T miss the first string. You could also try using a softer pick.

My uncle used to play Flamenco and would very often drum his fingernails on the body of the guitar following rasguedo style flurries, which would result in scratches. My dad saw this and recommended him some clear sticky-back film to cover it, cut to shape. You can probably buy that sort of thing in Popular.

nah you can buff it out with guitar polishes...

depends on your guitar finish actually., yeah it can be done.

give liquid paper on the scratches?[like when u did something wrong during test] sorry, dumb answer
