A local shop bought in a limited batch of fine Scheters guitar. I tried the C1-Elite. The workmanship is beautiful, clean and near perfect. As good as the PRS i currently own. The hardware are top notch, Tonepros, Grovers, Mahogany, neck volute for extra strength, dunlop 6150 frets, rosewood/ebony board. The sustain is fabulous & fat. Although the pickups are duncan design, they are pretty good. A serious upgrade to real duncans, JB, Custom etc will make an already fabulous guitar even better. I think i gonna get one soon....
Anyone own any other fine models? Care to share?..

I own the Custom 22, 24 & McCarty. All of them are superb in their own ways. However I do find PRS over priced. (Mine are 2nd hand). I bought mine much cheaper. However if i want a workhorse, Scheters may most likely be the animal. Much like MIJ Fender.

Go and try the Scheters. Buy them if you like them. WHat i gathered is that Scheters are huge in USA. Guitar 77 only manage to procure 20 out of the 60+ they ordered. THus stocks are limited.

Schecter rules!

Tried the Custom 4 Bass!
Light! Chio! Flexible tone! Good for slap!

So good then I will be ordering the Studio 4 Lefty version.

Really good deal manz =)

Thanx to Guitar 77, now I have more choices being a lefty haha
No more limited to Yamaha basses liaoz

Wow man custom 22&24 n a Mc Carty. Kewl stuff. Maybe we can meet up sum time. Am a prs fan myself. Have a SAS now saving up for a standard 22 or CE22 get a darker tone. N yeah 2nd hand can really get better deals. PRS Rawk. ,.....

Um sorry if i hijacked the schecter thread. BTW i luv schecter too hehehe

hiya djtommy, hows life mate? hehe. anyways, think the enitre C-1 range is between $980-$1180. nothing over $1180. so rest assured i think the tele they brought in is less than $1k. i think.........

am getting the C-1 Plus vintage natural gloss myself. tried the C-1 and the Tele bomber girl (amazing tone, loved the matte metal finish on the bridge and knobs sweet...). the C-1 is truly amazing, finish and quality and value for money. sound was just superb to me. thinking of selling my little PRS Tremonti SE to buy my schecter. any takers?? heh
