Hi.

New Schecter guitar user here.
Have a thought of buyuing schecter guitars.

I know it is sold in Guitar77, so is there other place selling?
And those in guitar77, i saw the lower end schecter are made in China.
I wont get any feel using those guitars. It is like epiphone made in China.

Do they sell America Schecter? Or any made in other countries that are recognize?

I am aimming C-1 RF. How much is it?
Is Schecter worth it? I wanted LTD, but i hate the headstock. lol.

Thanks.

Any other thing i need to take note??

Thanks

it's kind of contradicting though. you mentioned you are a new schecter user meaning you ALREADY own a schecter. but still you are aiming for another one? no offence but it just don't make sense to me. or maybe i'm too dumb to understand. old already.

there's a review on a schecter subversion did. maybe you can check it out at the review section.

on the matter of MIC. well, go down to G77 and try it first. don't come to a conclusion that MIC is no good. no harm trying right? if the one that you tried isn't up to your standards, pick another one and try again. i believe they made so much guitars. there's bound to be one that suits you(and your feel).

head down and ask the sales person. they know their price of guitars better than we do. or simply call them up if you are staying quite a distance away from them.

you want higher end schecters, go to eastside guitar and ask them. they can order for ya.

Made in China's really not good? Look at everything you own, from household stuff to anything else, i can guarantee that 90% of them are MIC or you open them up and the components are MIC.

The Fernandes Guitars in Yamaha are also made in China. Even them Ravelles in the "special" room. Those are fine to me. Can't see anything bad about it.

Hell, "Made In Japan", "Made in Korea", "Made in Thailand" also used to carry the same effects at one time or another.

Oh, and if you can't play, you won't get any "feel" using any guitar. If you can play, you can get plenty of "feel" from ANY guitar.

Yep, certainly. I think it was about 1960's (in reference to Wikipedia) when Japanese goods were believed to be inferior.

wah bro i don't mean to be malicious but... HOW CAN U SAY THAT ABOUT SCHECTERS.

don't u say that schecters are bad cause they are MIC, u go try a omen and u'll see the light man.
no schecter owners here complain that their guitar is MIC.
and im one of them.

a c-1, and u wan made in america? just pay a few thousand bucks.

ok bro, heres the deal, i myself was just looking to buy a korean made c-1 thus headed down to G77 to try some out. all they have are left over stock which are some omen extremes which retail at 599, c-1 exotics (the old one) retails at 1499 i think and i saw a gold top c-1 also retailing at 1099. there was also a 006 which i tried out, cant remember how much it was. anyway, service there was top notch and i tried out the shecters but im not sure why , they just didnt feel that good.could have been the set up but in the end i got a PRS SE PA which i am very happy with.

the dude at G77 said there wont be any new shipment of shecters any time soon cos they are restructuring or something like that.so all shipments are on hold.

don't get the omen extreme, if u wan just get the omen(they are new).
the omen extremes left have rather ugly flame top as the nice ones are long taken away. the service is top-notch.

EDIT : the omen extreme is 499, FR(last one gone) is 100bucks more and the 006 that u tried is also 499.
(u can always ask for "special price")

how do you describe "feel" when you have not even TRIED them before? you said
"i WONT get any feel"

which means you havent tried... just like how harry potter found his wand, feel is something like. once u play it, u have to go home with it.. and so one should never judge a guitar before playing it..

where its made in isnt the issue. perhaps you should watch beez play some chapalang guitar.

its how YOU like it, and how YOU play it. dont let origin be a stumbling block. if you dont like the FEEEEEEEEEL of it. get a gibson. but that's not even 100% satisfaction.

u know, honestly gibsons arent everything... i tried a more vintage one before, i suppose its a 50s neck... cant bring myself to love it..

wokay, i think i might have come off wrong there. it was an example though.

but whatever the case. just know that what feels good to YOU is what you should be using

ay. im using wong fei hong schecter ley.. but i dunno whats feel.. im really dumb in all these guitar thing..

he's too fast what. so can't really feel. dhalif prob plays faster than his senses can feel the neck.
