Schecter Guitars

Heh lol. Who else 2 bully? I wld dearly love to flame the threadstarter for his comments bcos MIC does NOT=Lousy. Go look at Burnys, Fernandes(mentioned earlier) and some LTDs. Excellent construction(some, not all), and good tone. Wat do u mean by i WON'T get any feel? R u trying 2 say that u won't give these guitars a try bcos their MIC? C'mon man, wake up! MIC is usually a negative conundrum i'd admit but as mentioned, 90% of our regular stuff is MIC. U telling me ur gonna boycott these goods bcos of that?

He has his opinion, u have yours. He doesn't like MIC guitars because that's his belief and choice. And more importantly, he doesn't force his belief on u. So why the hostility man?

should not judge an instrument from the country of origin

but that said, where the instrument is manufactured matters. in a country, there are many factories. and factory of origin matters... some factories produce better quality guitars than others and guitar companies usually contract a few factories to produce the same line of guitars...

too bad only country of origin is revealed on products so u don't know which factory it really came from... at this point of time, china has relatively more factories with poor qc than say america, japan, taiwan or south korea so, its a gamble.

u just have to try extensively and do some quality checking on china made guitars urself. u might either be carrying a piece of furniture or a high quality instrument but u won't know until u use it.

my schecter omen 6 is a MIC and it plays just as well as my MIK epi iommi.

i guess many new guitarists think that China is associated with cheap labour and lousy workmanship. i guess its just a stereotype that they'll soon get over it.

all the epis are MIC now. whether you like it or not. you'll just have to live with it heh

IMO MIK Schecter use more nice parts so have more nice quality..
MIK Schecter is made in same factory with MIK LTD..
so quality is almost same...
see the pics and specs..

Woah.. I'm drooling already..

Common guys.. Almost everthing in singapore are made in china.. Like MIC keyboards, MIC tupperware..

Cheers..

Well, if you strictly boycott MIC stuff, think you gotta throw out many things...

Start with your PC, your modem, speakers, mouse, keyboard, scanner, printer, clock, table, chair.
(Basically I'm naming everything's in front of me now)

WOW, threadstarter. you better tone down. seriously. you started this thread, asking for opinions about schecter guitar and starts to diss schecter guitar that are MIC. well, we gave our honest reply and but you start putting people down by making comments like this.

QUOTE : So you are that poor?

as you said, this if a music forum, we give our OPINIONS, not facts. we have our own opinion, you have your own opinion. we are not saying that you MUST follow what we say. it's up to you. if you think MIC guitar sucks, well.. keep it to yourself. you don't have to make it into such a big issue and it's not like we are not giving you comments other than MIC.

we know the gap between MIC, MIK, MIA and MIJ. at least we keep our mind open and give each guitar a chance to impress us although it's MIC.

Hey guys take a chill pill. Dont go down too hard on him. We're all entitled to our opinions. Would you like it if you started a thread and people started flamming you instead of helping? Plus he didnt really DISS MIC guitars. Although hes wrong to jump to conclusions but we're nice people so lets be nice.

Cut the brother some slack man.
I guess you guys mis-interpret his post ,or that his post is not clear.
Im sure his purpose wasn't to diss mic guitars.

Ok. I am posting this to ask about the price of a non MIC Schecter guitar.
Also, hopefully someone who used a Schecter and experienced in Shecter to teach me more stuffs about Schecter guitars.

Anyway, i got my answers already.

C-1 is about 1.2k
C-1 RF is about 1.4k
The price i got was from guitar77.
This 2 are all made in Korea.

actually... u should have just called them first. or just went to try one. that'll save everyone from their "anti-anti-MIC" comments.. oh well.
