saw these outstanding-looking guitars on the Schecter website.

Schecter Banshee (Marine Metallic Color)

Schecter Tempest Midway

Emailed guitar77 about it... they're not in but can be pre-ordered. as with the other Schecters in guitar77, going for < 1K.

Now, if only they're already here, then Subversion can do a thorough review of both guitars...

I assume the design and name stem from the Battle of Midway, the turning point in the Pacific Theatre of World War II?

yep. just hate the headstock design a bit... there's a bigger pic floating around online somewhere... u can see the Schecter name is certainly mixed into the design.

but overall, it just looks gorgeous. 8)
